Thermoelectric pipettes in the United States have the following five liquid transfer modes

1. Pipetting (P)

pipetting the selected volume, with automatic blowing out function, fully controlling the movement of the piston. After separation, the mixture can be connected to this mode with rain

2. Multiple liquid separation (d)

absorb all the volume plus a certain increment, and then separate out the liquid of the same volume for many times. The capacity and times of the remaining part are displayed on the display

3. Dilute (DD)

two different solutions are separated by an air partition, inhaled together, and automatically blown out together during liquid separation. This mode can also be used with the mixing mode after liquid separation

4. Multiple liquid separation (SA)

choose the cost of liquid absorption to obtain a lower capacity and number of mineral resources than the holding method until the series is completed, and then discharge all the suction capacity at one time. It can be used for manual plate washing

5. Mixing after liquid separation, also known as electrochemical capacitors, is a new energy storage device with energy density and power density between traditional capacitors and batteries (* or + mixing)

the piston moves up and down automatically to mix the liquid in the liquid separation container. The mixing time is controlled by the start button. Effective in pipetting or dilution mode (P, DD)

ul is microliter, ML is milliliter, generally below 1000ul, it is written in the unit of digital plus UL, and the maximum range is 1000ul, that is, the target ul-1000ul. If it is more than 1ml, it is generally 1ml to 5ml, 1000ul=1ml

common misoperation of thermoelectric pipettes in the United States

1) when aspirating, the pipette itself tilts, resulting in inaccurate setting of multiple experimental parameters (vertical aspirating, slow aspirating and slow releasing)

2) when assembling the suction head, the force is too strong, which makes it difficult to unload the suction head (there is no need to force too hard, choose the suction head that matches the pipette)

3) place the pipette with residual liquid suction head horizontally (the pipette should be hung on the pipette rack)

4) use a large range pipette to transfer small volume samples (a pipette with appropriate range should be selected)

5) directly press the second gear to suck liquid (it should be operated according to the above standard method)

6) clean the pipette with acetone or highly corrosive liquid (refer to the correct cleaning method)
